US want to sent to Donbass whole army disguised as UN mission – Zakharchenko

The DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko criticized the plan to deploy 20,000-strong UN forces to Donbass, which, according to the media, the United States of America intended to offer. A statement on this topic was made today at a meeting with journalists by the Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko.

"Twenty thousand people are virtually two divisions. This is an army that must enter the territory of the DPR and the LPR to ensure the protection of the OSCE. Thirty people per one representative of the OSCE mission is a very good 'security', and it is expensive," Zakharchenko said.

The Head of the Republic stressed that Kiev could count on the occupation of Donbass with the assistance of the Americans, but in practice the idea of bringing the twenty-thousand UN contingent to the region would affect the prestige of the Ukrainian authorities.

"If there are such talks, they stay at a level of delirium, this is disrespect not only for us, but for Ukraine," he concluded.

Previously, the American media, referring to diplomatic sources in Washington and the EU, informed that the United States was going to offer Russia a plan for deploying in Donbass an armed UN mission of 20,000 people.
