Savchenko wants to meet with People’s Republics’ leaders in Donetsk or Lugansk and then invite them to Kiev
The Verkhovna Rada MP Nadezhda Savchenko plans to hold direct negotiations with the leaders of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), she states it on the air of the TV Channel ‘NewsOne’.
According to her, the next meeting can be held in the capitals of Donbass Republics and later in Kiev.
“After the result that I can see and that takes place, I can make a request for the next meeting. I don’t think that we need the third country for this – I offer to hold the next meeting in Donetsk – Lugansk and later in Kiev. It is time to finish it,” stated Savchenko.
Savchenko worked before as a helicopter pilot for the Ukranian army. He fought in the Aidar-batallion and was captured in Lugansk in the summer 2014. Later she was arrested in Russia and was accused with for a grenade strike that killed two Russian journalists.
She was sentences to 22 years to jail, but was pardoned in May 2016.
