Energy emergency measures in Ukraine are to be prolonged till the middle of September in terms of the anthracite economy, reports the Head of Energy Ministry, Igor Nasalyk.
“We are planning to prolong emergency measures in the energy sphere till September. It is the period when we factually do not use anthracite,” said Nasalyk.
The emergency measures, connected with the Donbass coal supply blockade, undertaken by the Ukrainian radicals, were established in Ukraine from February 17 and should have lasted for one month. Later the Ministers’ Cabinet made several decisions on the emergency measures prolonging. The latest corresponding decision was made on May 11, when the emergency regime was prolonged for one month.
