Representatives of the US Armed Forces Command have arrived to the conflict zone in Donbass to carry out an inspection on the readiness of Ukrainian units for offensive actions, stated the Vice-Commander of the DPR Operational Command, Eduard Basurin.
"A group of officers from the US Armed Forces, accompanied by representatives of the AFU General Staff, arrived to the so-called ATO zone to hold an inspection," he said.
It is noted that the main focus of the Western Commission is on brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which are part of the Donetsk operational-tactical group. According to intelligence, Western officers recommended the Ukrainian command to withdraw militants of the Right Sector grouping from the positions in Avdeyevka area.
Let us recall that on February 5 the Republican Command stated information on Kiev's preparations for an offensive against the DPR and LPR in the period between March and June of this year. Reportedly, the AFU are planning to strike in four directions.
